Minine Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Minine Blood Pressure Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Health Data You Enter

The App allows you to record blood pressure (systolic and diastolic), heart rate (BPM), weight, and height. These values are used to calculate BMI and classify your readings into categories (e.g., Normal, Elevated, High). All health data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not transmit, upload, or store your health data on any external server.

1.2 Camera Data

The App offers a camera-based heart rate estimation feature. When you use this feature, the App accesses your device's camera to analyze light changes on your fingertip and estimate your heart rate. No images or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted. Camera access is requested only when you initiate the measurement, and requires your explicit permission.

1.3 Apple HealthKit Data

If you choose to enable the Apple Health integration, the App may read from and write to Apple HealthKit. Data types include blood pressure, heart rate, weight, height, and BMI. This integration is entirely optional and requires your authorization through the iOS Health permissions dialog. We do not access HealthKit data without your consent, and HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.

1.4 Notification Permissions

The App can send local notifications for measurement reminders. These reminders are configured by you (day, time, and measurement type) and processed entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services or collect device tokens for remote notifications.

1.5 Advertising and Analytics

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The App also includes the Facebook SDK for analytics and advertising purposes. These third-party services may collect certain device information, such as:

  • Device type and operating system version
  • Advertising identifier (IDFA), subject to your App Tracking Transparency choice
  • General usage data (e.g., app launch events)

We do not share your health data (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, or any readings you enter) with any advertising or analytics provider.

1.6 Remote Configuration

The App fetches a configuration file from a remote server (AWS S3) to manage advertising display settings. This request does not include any personal or health data. If the request fails, the App falls back to default settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Health data: Solely to provide the App's core features — recording, classifying, charting trends, and exporting your records.
  • Camera data: Solely to estimate your heart rate during a measurement session. No data is retained after the session ends.
  • HealthKit data: Solely to sync your records with Apple Health at your request.
  • Advertising identifiers: To display relevant ads and measure ad performance through third-party SDKs.

3. Data Storage and Security

All health data is stored locally on your device. The App does not have user accounts, cloud storage, or server-side databases for health information. Your data remains on your device unless you actively export it (via CSV, PDF, or Apple Health) or delete the App.

We rely on the security features provided by iOS and the device hardware to protect your data, including device encryption and app sandboxing.

4. Data Export

You can export your records as CSV files (for use in spreadsheets) or PDF reports (for printing or sharing with healthcare providers). Exports are initiated by you and shared through the iOS system share sheet. We do not receive copies of your exported data.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete individual records within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored health data from your device. If you have written data to Apple Health, that data is managed separately through the iOS Health app.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Choices

  • Camera access: You can revoke camera permission at any time in iOS Settings.
  • HealthKit: You can enable or disable Health access in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access.
  • Notifications: You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
  • Ad tracking: You can limit ad tracking through iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
